The technical stuff?

I know some things about PHP, XHTML, CSS and Javascript. But don’t let that scare you. Throughout the process of getting your website together I will be your partner, and I won’t threaten you with a 301 redirect. I’m very familiar with many of the popular open-source content management systems like WordPress and Joomla, and I have the know-how to work with the system of your choice.

Will it be pretty?

I don’t have a snobberiffic design philosophy that’s supposed to make you eat your shorts with anticipation to see your new site. I simply ask what you want and then make it a reality. Form follows function, and we can add in the pretty stuff as we go along. If you have a strong vision for how your site should look, I can make it happen. If you don’t, I always have ideas for you to try on for size.

What about cost?

A great website does cost money to maintain over time, and any web designer who tells you it’ll be cheap and quick is lying to you. But you can be sure there is no other communication medium that will provide you with as much reach and quantifiable return on investment as as a good website can, nor is there any other medium that is as adaptive, agile and capable of engaging your target audience as a good website can be. I have many creative ways to keep your costs down, your site up, and your clients and employees happy with your website. A basic site starts around $500, and basic website hosting plans start at $8 per month.

Will I support the site after it goes live?

Yes, I will help protect your website from evil Hungarian computer hackers. Warranties and support are offered with all websites and hosting plans.
